We had a fantastic stay at Victorian Cottage - the Beach. the cottage itself was exceptional value for money, offering two bedrooms and lovely personal touches. Despite initial concerns about parking, Amanda guided us on where to leave the car and we had no issues throughout our stay. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and within easy reach of pubs and restaurants. We truly felt like we were in a home away from home, thanks to Amanda's thoughtfulness and quick responses to our queries. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gem of a cottage and hope to return soon. Cons: Don't have any issues at all 😄.

Lovely cottage, beautiful beachside town, cosy with a wood burner, loads of charm, pubs and local dining, spotlessly clean.
Nothing all excellent.

As three of us stayed at Victorian Cottage - The Beach for a cycling holiday, we were thrilled with the exceptional service provided by Amanda. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including a washer/dryer and great wifi. Its location near a national cycle route made it perfect for our cycling adventures to Broadstairs and Dover. Amanda also kindly arranged bike storage nearby. Plus, having more than one key to access the property was a thoughtful touch.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

A very lovely cottage with comfortable and clean rooms. The welcome pack was a nice touch, especially the foodie gifts on arrival. The location was great, being close to the beach and within easy walking distance to town. The wood-burning stove added a cozy touch to the cottage.
The lack of a shower was a minor inconvenience, as it would have been nice to have that option. the bathroom being on the ground floor was a bit inconvenient, especially for older guests.

The value for money was excellent, and the room in the cottage was fantastic - clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the beach and within walking distance of Walmer Castle and gardens. The staff, especially Amanda, were brilliant - very helpful and welcoming, even leaving us a lovely basket of goodies upon arrival.
The hotel breakfast menu could have had more options for a wider variety of choices.

Comfortable and beautifully decorated cottage. The log burner and throws added a cozy touch. Host went above and beyond with a generous welcome pack and bathrobes. Great location, just a short walk to the beach and close to pubs and restaurants. Host was very helpful and quick to respond to inquiries.
No walk-in shower, but that's a personal preference. Fridge didn't have a freezer compartment, which was inconvenient for freezing ice packs and making ice cubes.

Great value for money, beach proximity, easy check-in, thoughtful touches, excellent communication. No negatives mentioned, but no garden, steep stairs, self-service bedding, a bit of effort to access the beach. Beautiful, clean, nicely decorated cottage. Helpful host with a lovely welcome basket. Well-organized. Enjoyed walks to Deal Pier and recommended fish & chips shop. Exceptional service, impressive welcome pack, great amenities, quiet location, ample parking. Lovely decor, cleanliness, homely feel, easy parking. Area close to quiet beach. Highly recommended.
